The Concrete Seattle Pros

The dispute between the Teamsters and the concrete Seattle companies has been dragging on for a month now. Since the start of the strike, several projects have been delayed. Contractors and subcontractors have scaled back crews due to the delays. The dispute has prompted King County Executive Dow Constantine to mediate the dispute. Both sides accuse the other of refusing to negotiate, and neither side is willing to publicly disclose what they offered the other. Housing costs in the area are high, making it especially difficult for younger drivers.
